Author Topic: Proper way to do transparency?  (Read 1243 times)


I'm looking to add some metal grates to a floor substance, and I'd like the holes to be see thru when I bring it into Unity.

I know Unity 5 has a "cutout" option for the materials -- what's the proper setup in Substance Designer to achieve the cut out look, to make sure only the space between the metal in the grate is transparent?

you could create a opacity output, or mask output in your Substance.
