Library Window Issues

Hello there, i was watching the tutorial videos and have come across an issue. My library window is not set up like the one in the videos, and once I started trying to change some things around, the window is now blank with no sorts of menus to work with. I tried to reset the interface to default but it didn't change anything. How can I edit the Library window and what it shows?

You probably collapsed some of the elements. Try moving your mouse to the left edge and drag toward the center of the library window, this should bring back the part with the different filters.
Also the search toolbar on top can be activated or deactivated by right clicking on the "Name - url - date modified" bar.
