Author Topic: Need help with strange normal map noise.  (Read 138 times)



Im attempting to make a crystal texture, and it looks fine from far away, however, apon getting closer, it is visibly grainy, and I cant figure out on why, if there is any way to fix this, please let me know.

Make sure all nodes leading up to your normal and AO are set to 16 bit.
The L8 and L16 under grayscale nodes indicates bitdepth at a glance to make it easier to find the first node(s) which may cause the issue.
