Author Topic: No parameters when imported into Unreal  (Read 494 times)

Hi There,

Just starting out with Alchemist and created 3 x materials and exported into Unreal 4.26.1

I'm not seeing any parameters apart from the resolution? Tried several different materials all created in Alchemist.

I've watched a tutorial and I should be seeing options to adjust my material in Unreal on the fly. Would like to know how to resolve this.

Substance Alchemist allows you to create and iterate on material collections by tweaking and mixing existing materials, or by extracting new materials from scans into Substance Alchemist.

In order to have parameters in your materials you have to expose them while creating substances in Substance Designer (and the Substance Plugin installed on UE4, available for free on their Marketplace), or creating those parameters directly in Unreal Engine 4, in the Material Editor :
