Author Topic: 3ds Max 2022 Substance 2.4.3 - 3ds Max Crashing  (Read 1058 times)

Hello there,

We got an issue with 3dsMax 2022 and Substance materials. With both Arnold & VRay

1. New project, loading a new .sbsar material in Substance2 map, right after that 3ds Max crashes. (for example: soft_round_pebble_ground_02.sbsar from substance source)

2. Existing projects with substance materials, running Arnold ActiveShade or VRay IPR, 3ds max keeps crashing right after start changing the Substance map settings (like color or other material options).


Any help to fix this issue would be much appreciated!

Same issues.
Crash after assigning a same sbar materials to multiple objects in 3ds Max 2022 scene and adjusting color in material editor. Running Arnold ActiveShade.

This should be fixed in the next version of the plugin. There might be some rendering artifacts when running activeshade with 2.4.4, but it at least won't crash.
