Author Topic: How to export an automatic UV projection as a file.  (Read 1019 times)

I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but I'm asking to know if you can export an automatic UV map as a file that can be loaded into another program such as Blender. I know you can save a substance painter-project as a .OBJ file, but it doesn't seem that blender can run these sorts of files, at least the sort SP exports.

You don't save Painter files, you just go to File->Export Mesh and you'll get the mesh with those unwrapped UVs.

Yeah, long story short this whole issue started because I just now realized that there is an "import OBJ" option in Blender, and I was using the normal load button this whole time.

I figured out how to load automatic UVs.
