Author Topic: [Request] Substance Source: SPF or Douglas Fir Wood Material  (Read 1345 times)

Hi Substance team, I am always amazed by your exceptional recreations of real world materials. One thing that's currently missing from your wood category is a standard SPF (spruce / pine / fir) or Douglas Fir material, useful for industrial visualization applications. A light wood with dark knots but without dark grain. The closest you have is Cedar White Wood, but the grain is darker than in standard SPF. Also changing the color of that wood (to a light color) results in the knots becoming bizarrely over-saturated (either red or yellow). Would be nice to change the wood color without affecting the knots. Thanks!
