Author Topic: using Tiling Alpha flawlessly  (Read 618 times)


Currently I do not have Zbrush. I switched to blender. JROTools have an awesome video. here is the link

as you see in (second 25) of the video they do a trick which is drawing a line and that tiling alpha follows the line awesomely. Just Awesome and flawless. Could I do something like this in Blender or Substance painter? I mean the alpha curves so much that it looks insane. In some places the alpha bends even to match the shape of the sword while keeping it tiling. Can you teach me how to do that in blender or Substance painter?
