Author Topic: Tri-Planer Projection on Fills with Masks?  (Read 884 times)

I'm trying to create a simple fill with a mask that pulls from the curvature. No matter what I do, I can't get rid of the UV seams. Apparently, tri-planar projection fixes this? But not for me!

I've tried different bakes, different meshes, different poly counts, different masks, et. ... nothing solves my problem. This seems like something that would be incredibly common, but I cannot find a single answer to this question when posed by others. I must be fundamentally doing something wrong, no? I'm becoming incredibly disheartened and want to throw in the towel.




I imagine the curvature bake has problems around the uv seams? try view the curvature channel in the viewport. Then maybe try play with the curvature bake settings and see if you can get rid of them.
