Author Topic: SP crashes when any change is made  (Read 435 times)

Hi everyone,

I hope this hasn't been solved a thousand times, but I couldn't find anything.

I'm running Substance Painter 6.2.2, and since I reinstalled my Windows (other reasons) it keeps crashing.
I can open projects, I can load .fbx files, and I can bake the maps. However, after the program goes unresponsive whatever I do. First and foremost, I'll include the changelogs in the post, I'll also add some details about my computer.

So the problem is it keeps crashing, the weird thing is it ran flawless before reinstalling Windows 10 on my computer (it needed a fresh start) here is what I tried.

- Delay the GPU shutoff in the regedit as recommended in troubleshoot here
- Checked for software issues with other programs (as recommended here)
- Reinstall Substance Painter
- Revert drivers for GPU to recommended stable version (20.12.2 --> 20.11.2)

Honestly I'm fresh out of ideas, but I really want this to work again. Any ideas?

Cheers, and thanks for your help,

Luuk

I teach people how to use Substance Painter. :)

Thanks so much, I guess it was all confusing enough I didn't find that one.

Cheers!
