Will rtx 3090 be compatible with iray at launch?

I remember waiting more than 4 months for pascal to be compatible.

Just got 3090... The answer is NO...

Question to Allegorithmic folks:

Do you have any time frame / estimate for when you will be able to update iRay, so it will work with Ampere?

Currently, when GPU is selected for rendering, iRay never completes "...warmong up" stage. Actual rendering never starts...

When I got my 3070 I thought there is some issue with GPU or my system. Later came to know that substance is not supporting 3000 series. Hope they will fix the issue soon.

Another 3090 user here. Not having GPU Iray to render out our works with is quite debilitating.
Devs could you please give us any update on when you plan to update Iray?
Substance Designer has already been updated to Iray version 2020.1.0 a month ago which supports the new Ampere GPUs.
Can we please have some sort of quick Iray update for painter as well and not have to wait half a year for it to come in a major update.
