Author Topic: can I make a material library to distribute with substance?  (Read 997 times)

I work for a content creation company and we are developing a material library for 3d modeling programs. Does the substance license allow us to make materials in substance then publish (and possibly sell them) them and distribute them as our own content or does adobe restrict the use of distributed  assets in any way?

For instance, If I make a cool metal flake paint material in any of the substance tools, can I then sell that material as part of a material library that I maintain and profit from?

Yes, as long as those substance graphs are yours and not the ones we either ship with the tools or were downloaded on Substance Source.

I assume this is the same answer for materials made with both painter and alchemist, not just designer?
