Author Topic: Way to get list of layers in a texture set with python api?  (Read 2945 times)

With the javascript api, we were able to get a list of layers in a stack, and export individual layers via '' commands.

With the python api, I'm having trouble seeing a way to be able to do this. We cannot do for example:

Code: [Select]
stack = substance_painter.textureset.get_active_stack()
layers = stack.layers

Any help would be very appreciated,

I used the js documentStructure function and traversed that. Hope that helps.

The layer stack is currently not exposed in any way to Python. It will come, but we prefer to take a bit more time to propose a more robust and easy to use API than what we currently have in Javascript.
Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.
