Author Topic: baking Low & high mesh parts  (Read 1008 times)

Hi all,

I have seen this tutorial recently were more FBX files are loaded into the high defination meshes. I always thought
that you loaded in one FBX file with all the HP mesh parts. That's how i have been doing it. Is this correct ? I'm using the
Match by name.

This same thing you would o for the LP meshes also use one fbx file with all the seleted parts you export from you're
3d package. Thanks in advanced.

You can do either or, I personally prefer to load in one FBX for the high and each mesh within is named something1_high something2_high ect... to match my low -> something1_low something2_low

Overall it is less steps, and if you have a mesh with a lot of parts you're not forced to export one by one, then load them in one by one into the High Def list... Seems like a waste of time in my opinion.  ::)
