Author Topic: Substance Painter 2019.3.3 hangs with multiple displays  (Read 75 times)

Hello,

I am on a workstation with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card on Windows 10. The attached log file is when 3 screens are connected. In this configuration Substance Painter refuses to start, it hangs during startup.

If I disable 2 of the monitors from the display panel the Substance Painter launches. I can reenable the other displays at this point, but under some conditions Substance Painter becomes unstable. If I stick with one monitor Substance Painter is stable.

In the attached log file you will see:

Perhaps this is a clue. I only have one graphics card, but the log says 3 are detected. If I start on one monitor it only detects 1. Perhaps it is only the log entry which is unclear and it means 3 displays?
