If I make a substance in SD4 using the Metal Edge Wear I need to generate a AO and Curvature, can those 2 bitmaps be re-generated within Modo with the plugin so that I can use a published Substance on different meshes without the need of going to SD and rengerate those bitmaps ?

Hi,

If you make a custom substance that uses the metal_edge_wear, you could feed it image inputs so that when you publish and open in modo, you can supply the AO and curvature maps as input to the substance. This way, you don't have to change the substance, but only feed it new AO and curvature inputs. These maps are baked or can be converted from normal maps in SD.
