Windows 10 and Substance Launcher stopped playing nicely together.
Substance Launcher attempted to update (Substance+Launcher-1.4.0-beta.8508.win.exe) via the Launcher platform, only for the update to fail with an error message stating Substance Launcher EXE file was missing from "C:\Program Files\Allegorithmic/Substance Launcher". This file was not missing, of course; it existed before this update.
Substance Launcher, now, has no viable EXE file on my computer. The Uninstall executable remains, so...
Have attempted to uninstall Substance Launcher via Windows uninstall which fails due to there being no .EXE file for Substance Launcher. The Uninstall executable fails as well for lack of a .EXE file for Substance Launcher.
Reinstalling Substance Launcher fails a quarter into install, even after manually deleting the "C:\Program Files\Allegorithmic/Substance Launcher" folder. Restaring PC, verifying admin rights, disabling all virus, VPN, malware, etc. protection changes nothing; Substance Launcher fails a quarter into install.
Currently have no working Substance Launcher. How can this be resolved?
