Author Topic: Bit Depth for height map SBSAR  (Read 3095 times)

I am using an sbsar as a height map for displacement in Houdini and I am getting that low bit depth stair stepping. I have tried many different formats on export and to no avail. Are sbsar files locked to a 8bit? I can't seem to find anything in documentation. I have also tested using an exported tiff file instead of an sbar and it works fine.
