Does upgrading to the Monthly Plan eliminate my Perpetual Indie license?

I have an option to upgrade my Designer Perpetual Indie license to the Substance Subscription for $10/month (first 6 months). So it means replacing and I'd lose my perpetual access to Designer?
Just want to make sure. Thanks.

Yes... you will be surrendering your perpetual license for the subscription.

No you don’t lose your perpetual license.
The subcription would create a new license, and your perpetual one would still exist.
