Looks like they have switched to "Windows Ink" for their pen driver in this version. Re-Enabling this from Wacom preferences gets pressure sensitivity working again... however.....
Windows Ink creates a bunch of annoying visuals that seem impossible to disable without reverting back to Wintab via Wacom preferences.
Annoyances include: a white circle appearing on right click, modifier key popup notifications under the cursor ALT+SHIFT etc, and odd behavior in some other creative apps. This are all Windows specific issues which we are kinda stuck with unless Microsoft does something. ASFAIK....
The workaround for this previously had been to choose "Disable Windows Ink" in the Wacom preferences. Then in photoshop atleast, add a PSUserconfig.txt to the photoshop user profile to get pressure sensitivity back up and running.
For Substance Painter, is it:
a) possible to also disable "Windows Ink" and fallback to "Wintab" via some kind of option or text file like in photoshop?
or
b) work with Microsoft to provide a nicer experience for artists using Windows Ink?
