Author Topic: Brushes - Unsupported Features  (Read 1730 times)

Hi all :)

So latest version has a bunch of PS Brushes, when you hover over the brush icons many have a note in the popup listing unsupported features for the brush.

Does that mean that Substance can't support a feature of a PS Brush, or the license team decided to include items in the shelf that the Substance License doesn't allow one to have access to?

Thanks

These are Photoshop parameters that Substance Painter doesn't support yet.

Thanks for the heads up Jeremie :)

Restricted and cannot be read :'(

Not all Photoshop brush parameters are supported at the moment, refer to the compatibility list for more information.

Just a question as I haven't seen this asked yet,
I noticed that the Photoshop brushes available are the ones shipped with the new update.

Do you guys plan to have/ or have a tutorial for importing our library of brushes from photoshop?
Just curious on how to do this as I've been tinkering around trying to find the files to import.

Thanks!

You can drag and drop your photoshop brush .abr files into the brush folder of substance.

For example: (C:\Program Files\Allegorithmic\Substance Painter\resources\shelf\allegorithmic\presets\brushes)
