Thanks Macao! I'll read about it today x)

I downloaded the installer, but it doesn't install propperly. at the end it constantly says it cannot copy the environment .exr's or the material .sbsar's because they are corrupted. Yet the installer started ok, Is my download corrupted perhaps or is the source file on your servers?

Funniest thing. I downloaded again. backed up the version I downloaded earlier to another folder. tried the older version, didn't install and said it was corrupted. Installed the new version, installed fine. Compared both version and they seem to be of identical size. Strange.

Great update! Performance is really better, 4K is now usable :)
Although, when you paint on a layer that's below a lot of other layers, it becomes very laggy. In 2K, you get a small glitch on the 1st stroke, but the subsequent ones are smooth. When you disable layers on top, 4K painting gets smoother.

Thanks!
Alex

Ooo... I love software updates.
Thanks!

Thanks everyone! It's really a testament to the Substance Painter devs and product designers! Those guys are awesome and as a Substance Painter user myself, I'm loving the updates.

@mario.baldi
I set this thread to sticky and will post future changelogs as well into this thread.

Cheers,

Wes
