Author Topic: Export png maps high information ...weathering water  (Read 1289 times)

I have created in alchemist a material with paving stones and weathering water.
i export from alchemist the png textures like color, normal, roughness, height etc.
problem is:
i use the height texture for the displacement information (blender) everything looks good but the water is not mirror-smooth because the height map for the water also calculates the underground and this should not be, the high information for the water surface must be in the whole texture exactly the same, how can this be avoided?

i think there must be implement a new feature for the water ...
All objects above the water generate the normal map and the height map,
all objects under the water surface generate ignore the height and normal map.
otherwise, the water is never applicable in extern 3D software

I just found the issue and corrected it. The Water filter wasn't modifying the height map of the material below.

It will be released soon.
