Author Topic: Substance painter opens but doesn't work  (Read 266 times)

Hello!
When I open Substance Painter it doesn't react at all when I click and I can't close it without task manager. I can't even get the log file. Even manually from users folder (it just doesn't show up on .Appdata). The log file says: "[plugin - resources - updater] No project open, resources updater discarded".

I've tried everything - Disabled GPU SLI configurations, Turned off windows defender, changed Tdr values on 120 seconds as recommended, Upgraded Autodesk Desktop app. Nothing helped.

Another thing I'd like to mention... The same problem occurs to another program - Mari 3d.
I have reached my limits of solutions for this issue now so, I really need you help...

Could the problem be with  my laptop  (msi gaming notebook. Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6920HQ CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.9GHz, Gpu:  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M (SLI) 8GB, Ram: 32 GB, Memory: ssd: 236GB, hdd: 1TB)?

I'd be grateful If anyone could help me...

Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.
