I have a situation up here.
I was totally unsure what I should do seeing the Black Friday offers. I have been a monthly subscriber for over 2,5 years and as most of us - I wanted to get the perpetual license AND have it up to date on the last possible date (December 2020).
I asked the Support if:
a) I should buy out immediately and then buy a 1-year maintenance (with Black Friday promo) to get things right or
b) I should wait until next year's December with my monthly payments and do the buy-out just then.
I was suggested the first way. I even asked once more to make it perfectly clear. After being assured that it will serve the task I did it and paid $49 (buy-out) + $149 (one-year promo subscription).
And today in my conversation with the Support I got an e-mail telling me that it doesn't work like that and that Support "feels sorry for the misunderstanding"
I hope someone from Allegorithmic will take a look on this case and will get it done correctly because right now it looks like making me a fool by the Support.
I knew something will go wrong after the Adobe comes in :/
