Author Topic: Baked Lighting Filter noisy artifacts  (Read 763 times)

Hi everyone,

I'm currently struggling at work on a model we have to bake. It's our only clear-colored model and I can't say I did notice this behavior before this one.
I have since tried it on some other models and the result is the same : in situations of light base color, many baking artifacts show.

So here is how it goes;
in PBR the model looks good. Very good even:

However, we we use a Baked Lighting filter, here is the immediate result:

And even if I deactivate all the layers of the model, here is the Base Color aspect of the baking:

I have tried many things:
-modifying the materials,
-rebaking all the maps
-discarding all the baked maps
-trying all the environment maps available
-tweaking the baking values
-deactivating SVT
-updating GPU drivers

But nothing works or appears to have even the slightest effect on it (except Exposure tweaking, but then my colors are burned)

Any idea how I could have a smooth baking for the model ?

Nobody ? No idea ?

Please, this isn't the only time I've encountered this phenomenon, I'd really like to get rid of it :/

Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.
