Author Topic: How to make one of RGB values to be next layer roughness?  (Read 406 times)

I see I can  propagate any given layer RGB or alpha  to next layer channel roughness through anchor point

I want to turn  layer  A  color green channel be next layer roughness.   The anchor point allows to use  alpha of layerA  without any problem  but when I try to use green channel  by  basically making red and blue  black with the levels sliders and keeping only green intact , that green turns to be much darker than it should be.

Could somebody suggest a right way  to do it?
