Author Topic: [SD 2019.2] Why do I see 2 entries for the same built-in nodes in search?  (Read 140 times)

They appear to point to the same file location, is this a bug?

I think you can fix this this if you rebuild the library.
To do this, go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Allegorithmic\Substance Designer
Delete the "databases" folder.
Start up SD and wait a minute or 2 as the library is rebuilding.

Edit: Here's a post by a staff member about this, btw, to verify that this is safe to do:

Thx, looks like simply "Preference -> Library -> Rebuild Thumbnails" fix my issue, which is weird but at least it's solved :)

Oh, good to know. That's way more convenient
