Author Topic: FBX imported from Maya not displaying correctly  (Read 335 times)

I imported an fbx from Maya in the Unreal 4 template.  I can't seem to see the UVs and when I paint it seems to have radial symmetry.  I did import this pillar from ZBrush into Maya before and the shader looks off in Maya with no way to change it.


Check that you don't have multiple UV sets. Substance Painter only import the first one. It's likely that all your faces overlaps which repeats the texturing as seen in your images.
Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.

Hello, it was a UV set problem.  I had two and deleting one fixed the issue. Thanks for taking the time to answer!
