Author Topic: Disabling Paint through Mesh and avoiding smudging  (Read 1261 times)

This is a very basic doubt I have, but I can't find around the answer.
Where can I disable painting through a mesh?
How can I avoid smudging the edges of the perpendicular planes from my view?
Otherwise I get all polygon that are not facing me, all smudged.

Create a mask with the mask tools. I would either quick mask or make a mask and select UV islands or polygon faces. Easiest way is to make a folder and apply a black mask to it then uv island or polygon select for the mask then paint in layers inside the folder.
