Topic: my car normals looks weird (Read 1074 times)

Hi guys
when i import my car into painter and add my normal map which was baked on blender it gives this weird shading
does any one know what the reason for that

It's hard to say without knowing more about your assets.
Most of the time this kind of issue is related to how the mesh was modeled in the original application. You could try using a different file format for exporting it.

Don't forget your
log file
. It can be exported from the
Help
menu of the software.

i exported it in fbx and obj formats and same issue pop up every time

If you import the exported mesh in a new scene in Blender does it look fine ?
Do you have any errors/warnings in the log when creating a new project with your mesh ?
