Author Topic: SD 3.2: Rest > Open Recent > Crash  (Read 2548 times)

The bug reporting menu item brought me here.  I'm guessing that this is the appropriate forum section.  This is just a report for something I found while exploring Substance Designer.  It isn't causing me any problems on an ongoing basis.

Summary: Substance Designer 3.2 64-bit on Windows 7 crashes when attempting to open a package after the Reset menu item has been used.

Frequency: Every time.

Steps to repeat:

1.  Open SD such that the explorer is empty. (No packages open.)
2.  Open a recent package via File > Recent Packages. (I used the Electric_Liquid.sbs, but it happens with others.)
3.  Select File > Reset.
4.  Note that the explorer now lists a package called "Unknown Identifier".
5.  Open the same package opened in step 2 using File > Recent Packages.
6.  SD crashes.

Yep, it's a known bug and it's being fixed. Thanks for the report anyway :)
