Author Topic: Mesh being triangulated after importing  (Read 181 times)

I exported a fbx using blender, and the fbx is just fine(isnt triangluated or anything), but when i import it to substance painter the mesh gets triangluated(which didnt happen previously when i worked with similer meshes). The id maps are all messed up due to triangulation now. Can anyone tell me what might be happening?

The id map shouldn't be messed up, I've never had that issue. The triangulation is normal and in no way should affect the resulting textures, as it's the uv space which matters, which remains unchanged.
