Author Topic: "Transferred Texture from Mesh" bake feature should support Alpha channels  (Read 1311 times)

The "Transferred Texture from Mesh" feature is fantastic, especially its normal-map support. It would be even better if it could do four-channel (RGBA) transfers instead of only three-channel(RGB) transfers. Almost all of our texture formats at our studio have something packed in the alpha channel, and it's inconvenient to have to break them into two separate textures before transferring between meshes.
