Author Topic: Issue Contacting Server for licensing  (Read 998 times)

For the last few times (several months), when I try to boot up Substance Painter on the day the license expires, it can't contact the server to get a new license and I have to go into my account with a web browser and download a local copy of the license file.

I'd really like to get that sorted so I don't have to do this every month.

It's giving me a (status 500) in the error message.

Just wanted to update this to say that clearing out my password and re-typing it into the field fixed the problem.

I wish this warning had said something about my password being wrong instead of saying it was a problem contacting the server.  Would have saved me some time.

Anyway, it's resolved.
