Author Topic: [SOLVED] Substance Designer AO node stripes  (Read 1293 times)

Hello, I have been working on this grass plane texture, saw a tutorial about it and wanted to try it myself, all went alright but the AO node that I have creates some stripes on my texture. Anyone has any idea how to fix it? Tried changing the input that I created on an FX node but I lose the resolution when I increase the Luminosity there.

It might be a really easy mistake I made but I am quite new so would appreciate some feedback and help.

It looks like your fx map is set to 8-bit (it shows L8 under the node). If you change it to 16 bit the faceting, or 'stair stepping' should disappear.
