Author Topic: Problems with Height/Normal maps  (Read 885 times)

1. How do I disable auto-baking of Height map information into a Normal map at export? I'm importing sbsar into SP and want to only export Normal map information that was created in SD without additional information from Height map.

2. Height map information from SD is oddly remapped in SP for some reason. How Do I disable this as well?

Please see the screenshots I provided for more info.

I'm using SD-SP-Arnold in Maya pipeline. Height map in SD is designed to work in 0-1 range where 0.5 is the middle point. Arnold Displacement shader setting is remapped accordingly.



Any answer to this?
