Author Topic: How can I scale a texture without making it blurry/distorted  (Read 435 times)

This is the same texture that is selected in the textures section.But after I scale it to try to increase the amount of bricks and decrease their size, the texture distorts into hexagon-like shapes(Like in the picture)

If you have a very large surface to texture, you should probably do it like in your video, through a shader. Substance Painter will be limited to the texture set's resolution and is not meant to texture huge assets like these. You could use Painter to paint masks to use in your shader afterwards though.
