Author Topic: Moving uv's into different texture set workflow?  (Read 406 times)

Is there any way at all to transfer your paint on a model if you have to move some UV's to a different texture set? 

Obviously it does very well at projecting on uv's if you only change them within it's current texture set.  Anyway to point that old set to the new set so it can find the geom?

Yes once you reimported your mesh, in the texture set list window, click the Settings dropdown, then choose Reassign Texture Sets.

hmm, so finally got around to trying this, I am not sure I am getting a result expected.  btw no object names have changed in the fbx file, just uv's

-So does this work correctly with a UDIM workflow as well?   
-Can you just move one object into another texture set, while leaving others intact?  Because it seems the best I can do is flip flop texture sets completely.
