Author Topic: unmodifiable FBX file on substance Painter: Error Failed to triangulate poligon  (Read 587 times)

I start with the Painter Substance Software. The file is impossible to paint... I created it since Maya is exporting to FBX file.
I also tried in OBJ but still impossible

Error indicated on SUbstance painter is : [Scene 3D] Failed to triangulate polygon (no ear found). Probably not a simple polygon?


[Scene 3D] [FBX] : Mesh normals are invalid (some values are null) and will be recomputed

You're not going to be able to paint normally when your UVs are outside the 0-1 space.

When I corrected your UVs, painting works just fine upon import.
