Author Topic: Having trouble baking  (Read 381 times)

My normal map just bakes as solid purple. I've messed with ray distances and all that and still no luck. Any ideas? Or, any hacks to convert the world-space map into object-space?

I more or less want something that looks similar to the base color map, but as a normal map. Attached an example.

Uncheck "apply diffusion"

If you bake a normal map using your low poly mesh as the high poly, this is the expected result, since both meshes avec the same normals, the bake will appear flat.
