Author Topic: Varying tiled materials by attribute  (Read 782 times)

I am new to substance but I have experience with Houdini.
In Houdini we can vary things by attributes. How can we achieve the same with substance?
For example I am scaling the uvs of a grid and applying a plank material but the pattern is repeating.
I have generated random regions in the form of colors. Is there a way to use that to drive a seed or other variation of the substance material?

for this, you can use a directional warp with a high value, and plug one of the channels of your map to set the intensity ;)
