Author Topic: How do I add a normal map?  (Read 1073 times)

I created a high-poly model in ZBrush, did retopo in 3D Coat, and am trying to use it in Substance Painter 2018.  I can import the low-poly model, but no matter what I do the normal map does not apply to the model.

How do I add the normal map?

Ok - for anyone else that gets stuck here (since Painter is basically unusable without the normal maps), import your low-res model, import the normal map (drag it to the screen at the bottom and import as a texture), in the right hand menu go to texture set list, bake mesh maps, select the normal map, delete "project" and select your normal map.
