Author Topic: Emissive masks in red channel of metallic-roughness texture image?  (Read 167 times)

Hi, I was wondering how and if it's possible to export from substance painted a Metallic/Roughness Texture with the Emissive on the red channel, we are using Unreal and it was suggested to do that as part of optimizing but haven't found yet how to do it.

In the export dialog, switch to the Configuration tab. There you'll see all the export preset, locate the UE4 one and duplicate it, you'll then be able to drag the emissive channel from th list on the right to the right slot and have a custom export preset that uses the emissive in the red channel.
