Author Topic: [SOLVED] Errors exporting to sbsar - Execution failed ! (Exit Code: 13)  (Read 2485 times)

I am using the B2M tool inside Substance Designer but having issues exporting my creation to an sbsar package (which I want to use inside of Substance Painter).

In the export dialogue box is some yellow warning text that states: "Found graph with non relative to parent x1 outsize parameter."

Then, after export, the following warnings and errors:

hey, do you mind sharing your graph, and joining your log file, please?

I'm also getting a similar error while exporting a substance. I have the output computation set to YES and checked if the outputs have components with specific usages. But I still get the error. Here's the log:

Stylized_Stones.sbs --includes /Applications/Substance Designer.app/Contents/Resources/packages --output-path /var/folders/nf/ssl01ts94gzcygh_ys0g6qzm0000gp/T/Allegorithmic/Substance Designer --output-name Stylized_Stones --expose-output-size 0 --expose-random-seed 1 --expose-pixel-size 1 --size-limit 13 --enable-icons --compression-mode 1

Vincent, see attached Zip for requested files.  I am new to these tools so it is possible I did not set things up correctly.
I appear to be having an issue uploading my file - server rejecting it.  It includes my Substance file as well as my original bitmap image - only 8 MG but is this too big for accepted attachment?  I will upload just the log file and Graph export in next try.

Try to update to the latest version of Substance Designer

Try to update to the latest version of Substance Designer
I am on version 2018.2.1 Build 1495 - which is what is currently available from my Licenses / Downloads area.

Please advise.

Also following this as I am having a similar issue. My substance will export but a large majority of the graph is not functioning in the final sbar

Updating Designer to the latest version worked for me. Thanks Vincent!

Checked mine and it seems to be up to date with build 1495 and still having this issue

So, I checked my sbsar file in unreal and it looks like an error did occur but Designer didn't notify me. I attached how the substance looks in engine and how it looks inside Designer. This is the only substance that has given me this kind of trouble. I suspect it might have to do with the flood fill node cause all my other substances don't use it.

The team is watching at this: Meanwhile, for the people who still have the issue, please join your log file, if it's not done yet.

Hi everyone,

@Pegot and @Alex Blair : Would you mind sharing your graphs with me ? (right click on your package and select "export with dependencies" to make sure all dependencies are attached)

@Victor Luca : You are facing different issues, here is a summary

Problem n°1 :

Your issue was related to a wrong variable introduced in the Tile Random Grayscale node. The Tile Random Color and Grayscale were not matching before the 2018.2.0 version, so we corrected that but introduced a wrong variable at the same time.

Here is a way to understand the error message :

[ERROR][SBSCooker]Variable type mismatch:
Variable Name: background_color // Name of the problematic parameter //
Of Type: Float                             //Expected type for the parameter "background_color" //
Accessed By: Get Float4              // Current type for the parameter "background_color" //
      While Evaluating Parameter: background
      In Graph: pkg:///tile_random?dependency=1290776988 //Problematic node / graph//

As we fixed the graph itself, this issue has been fixed in the last version (2018.2.1).

Problem n°2 :

As you said, the Flood fill node is the reason of your current issue as this node is only working using the GPU engine. You can change this directly inside of UE4. This can be done by going to Edit -> Project Settings -> Scroll down to the bottom to Plugins/Substance -> Under 'Cooking', change the Substance Engine dropdown to GPU Engine. This also requires you to restart UE4 for it to take effect. (here was a thread about it : https://forum.allegorithmic.com/index.php?topic=22115.0 )

Hope it helps  :)

Q.A Analyst

It did, thank you for the support. You guys are the best!  :)

Ok see attached.  This is a different file from what I original posted on but same issue (having trouble uploading at original size so I reduced the input bitmap).

OK it's because you have to use the "bitmap2material light" node that is accessible within SD: (the node you are trying to use is related to some dependencies)
