It would be extremely useful if for traditional noise nodes - Perlin, Plasma, Cell types - the Scale and Disorder parameters had exposed inputs to map textures into those values.

Being able to do things like map noise nodes into the scale parameter of other noise nodes opens up a lot of possibilities for creating a wider texture variance and creating multiple scales of detail very quickly.

Looking at the Perlin noise right now, and that seems to have that already. Usually its better to open the node you want (right click -> open reference) then save it to a new location and edit that version to make one that suits your workflow/ideas better.
