Author Topic: Wierd bleeding on UV pixel perfect edges  (Read 367 times)

Hey,

what seemed to be quickly fixable problem turned out to be not that easy.

I made this digestor model (attachment). I made UV's perfectly aligned with X and Y and also snapped to pixels of image. Yet that mask I try to make have some black spots bleeding from neighbouring UV. I just started with substance, but I've unwrapped few models in blender and fixed errors like these by painting onto the texture mask, however since in here I am unable to paint anywhere but islands it cannot be fixed that way.

I don't want you to fix it, just tell me why is it happening. UV's are aligned and seam is right where the bleeding occurs, but islands are in different tex. coords, not next to each other.

First I thought it is because misalignment, but I was wrong.

Anyone any ideas?
