Hi

Before in the substance plugin for 3ds max you could point it to a folder where you exported your substance painter maps and then it would make the connections for you. That feature seems to be gone now in batch import it only accepts sbsar files?

Hi,

I'm sorry but I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to with the feature to load maps from Painter. We haven't had a feature like this in the plugin. We did have a rendering script that was part of the old 1.x plugin, but that was only for creating a vray material from the Substance outputs.

Hmm, no our plugin never had any connection with Painter. The plugin is just for loading sbsar files into 3ds max.

would be great if the plugin could do that as well. I dont think clovis is updating his plugin anymore. It saves time when you have many objects.
