Author Topic: Support for animated Alembic Caching and Sequence Rendering  (Read 968 times)

After using Maya > Substance > UE4 workflow, it became clear that Substance and Iray are fantastic rendering options that could easily compete with UE4 VFX rendering workflows and GPU renderers like Redshift and Octane. Simple animated alembic support with the potential to render selected frames would give a fantastic preview to what character animation would look like with minimal time requirements. To go as far as a timeline would be aggressive, but I think a feature to import animated alembic cache and manually select which frame to render would be a great start.
