Author Topic: Substance Materials in 3ds Max, (V-Ray Renders)  (Read 400 times)


I want to start using Substance Materials for my V-Ray Renders in 3ds Max.

Does anyone have any feedback using this workflow and the quality of the renders using Substance Materials instead of traditional V-Ray Materials?

Do Substance Materials look better than V-Ray Materials or vice versa?

I am doing a lot of Archviz and so I'm going for Photo-Realistic renders and thought Substance would be perfect for that.

Any feedback would be great.


Hey, substance files are just "feeding" VRay materials with textures (we are not replacing them). So you get more control on the textures to represent your materials.
